Meet the family
The faces who’ll measure, advise and fit your floors
Supreme Carpets is Jamal and his sons, with Rania looking after bookings. For over 10 years we’ve run the showroom on Bourne Terrace and fitted floors right across London. When you call, you speak to us. When the fitters arrive, it’s us.
“You will not meet a more charming or efficient and professional man than Jamal and his two sons who help him. Their prices are more than reasonable and their work is exceptional.”
Modern vinyl is nothing like the lino you remember. It’s warm underfoot, quiet, easy to clean and made to handle the rooms that get the hardest use.
Water-resistant
Spills and splashes wipe away. Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Pet and family friendly
Hard-wearing surfaces that stand up to paws, buggies and dropped toys.
Easy to keep clean
A quick sweep and damp mop is all it needs. No sealing or oiling.
Warm underfoot
Softer and warmer than tile, and many LVT ranges work with underfloor heating.
Herringbone & patterns
LVT planks can be laid in herringbone or chevron for a period-home look.
Quieter than you think
With the right underlay it cuts footstep noise, which matters in flats.

Why floor preparation matters
Vinyl and LVT are thin and flexible, so any dip, ridge or loose board underneath will show through in time. That’s why we check your subfloor at the measure and include any preparation in the quote, rather than finding out on fitting day.
Living in a flat?
Many London leases limit hard floors or require an approved acoustic underlay. Check your lease or ask your managing agent first, and tell us what it says. We’ll quote a floor and underlay that meet it.

Questions
Vinyl & LVT FAQs
What’s the difference between vinyl and LVT?
Sheet vinyl comes off a roll and is fitted in one piece, so it’s great value and has very few joins, which suits kitchens and bathrooms. LVT (luxury vinyl tile) comes as individual planks or tiles, looks and feels more like real wood or stone, and can be laid in patterns like herringbone.
Is vinyl flooring waterproof?
Vinyl and LVT are water-resistant surfaces, which is why they’re so popular in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. Spills wipe straight up. We’ll recommend the right product and finish for wet areas.
Can LVT go over underfloor heating?
Many LVT ranges are made to work with underfloor heating. Tell us if you have it and we’ll show you suitable options at the measure.
Does my floor need preparing first?
Vinyl and LVT show every bump in the floor underneath, so the subfloor has to be flat and sound. We check it when we measure and include any preparation in your written quote.
I live in a leasehold flat. Can I have a hard floor?
Many London leases limit hard floors or require an approved acoustic underlay to protect the flat below. Check your lease or ask your managing agent before you choose. Tell us what it says and we’ll quote a floor and underlay to match.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based at our W2 showroom and fit vinyl and LVT right across London, from Paddington, Maida Vale and Notting Hill to Kensington, Marylebone, St John’s Wood and beyond. Not sure if we cover you? Just call us.
Will you fit flooring I’ve already bought?
Yes. We offer supply and fit, and a fitting-only service if you already have your materials.
